1.Well, take a look at these pictures, let's pronounce it.... :D

2.  What kind of thing are those words? yeah.. those are kinds of  " SEASON". Now, I want you to describe each picture orally..

• How is the weather when it is summer? 
• What happens to the leaves when it is autumn?
• When does the snow always come? 
• Do you know when spring season is coming?

3. Here, I have a descriptive text about that four seasons, read it aloud. 

The Four Seasons

Many Indonesians do not know the four seasons: Summer, Autumn, Winter, and Spring. In Indonesia, there are are only two seasons, the dry and wet seasons.

In countries with four seasons, the temperature differs greatly from season to season. To some of us, summer weather is familiar. Its temperature or heat is almost the same as that of our dry season.

Following the hot summer days, comes autumn, and nature begins to change. The green leaves change to yellow, red, and brown. Finally those dry lives fall to the earth, leaving the trees with nothing on their branches. Autumn is always beautiful. The falling leaves are colorful. Cool air makes the season the most popular time for picnics. As the last leaves fall to the earth, the wind becomes colder. Finally, everything is dull.

In winter, snow starts to fall, making the earth and everything white. The temperature drops, and the weather is drop, just the opposite of that in Summer. In the northern part of the globe, the temperature may decrease many degrees below zero.

Then comes spring. Spring seems to give a new life to nature. Having seen mostly white all Winter long, people always welcome early Spring joyfully. Young leaves start to grow on the branches of trees. More beautiful flowers grow after some showers which often come during the season. Nature is now ready for the next season, Summer.

4.  Watch the video, Ann and Bob are talking about the weather via telephone. Repeat every sentence that they have said... check it out!

From that video, you have known how to ask the weather to someone.

Ann : how’s the weather today?

Bob : it’s little rainy.

Ann :  is it cold?

Bob : No, it’s cool, but not cold.

Ann : what was the weather like yesterday ?

Bob : it was sunny and pleasant.

Ann : what will the weather be like tomorrow?

Bob : it will be rainy.

" VOCABULARY"

little rainy = gerimis 

cool = sejuk 

cold = dingin 

sunny = cerah

pleasant = nyaman

5. Please listen this dialog as a model, then try the dialog, guys,,,, Ganbatte!

Ashley: Hey, Jake. Are you ready for your trip?

Jake: Well, not really. I still have to buy some clothes.

Ashley: Well, what's the weather like where you're going?

Jake: Well, uh, it's really hot in the summer, so I'm going to buy some shorts, sandals, and a few t-shirts.

Ashley: What about the rest of the year?

Jake: People say that the fall can still be warm until November, so I'm going to buy some jeans and a few casual shirts.

Ashley: Will you need any warm clothes for the winter?

Jake: Well, the weather doesn't get too cold, but it often snows in the mountains, so I'm going to buy a couple of warm sweaters, a jacket, and a hat. I don't have room in my suitcase to pack a coat, so I'm going to wait until I get there and buy it when I really need it.

Ashley: Are you going to take anything else?

Jake: They say it rains cats and dogs in the spring, but again, I'll probably just wait and pick up a raincoat or an umbrella later on. But, I'm going to take a good pair of shoes because I plan on walking to and from school everyday.

Ashley: Do you need any clothing for formal occasions?

Jake: Well, you never know when you might needs something on the spur of the moment for a wedding or maybe someone's graduation, or a nice date, so I'll probably take some nice slacks, a dress shirt, and a couple (of) crazy ties or two.

Ashley: Um, that makes sense.

Jake: And I'll just rent a suit or tuxedo if I need anything more formal. Hey, maybe I'll get married.

Ashley: You? Married? Hah!

Jake: Wait. What are you trying to say?

Ashley: I just can't imagine you decked out in a tuxedo for any formal occasion. [What?!] I mean, for high school graduation, you wore an old pair of jeans and tennis shoes.

Jake: Hey, there was a reason for that, so let me explain. [Yeah, ha, ha.] No, really. You see, it goes like this . . .

The British Council is one of webpage that you can use to learn and teach English as well. You can download the materials for teaching. Actually this is not only about teaching speaking, but even more, it provides many listening materials for kids. The URL of the website is www.teachingenglish.org.uk. As I have told you before. It provides many materials for teaching English; grammar, listening, speaking, etc. it also provides audio for teaching listening for kids. Not only that, British council also provides many Fun games for kids.

For teachers:
1. You can download material from it. Surely, the materials that provided are very interesting.
2. You can also share about your experience in teaching in it by having an account first. Sign up first to make an account to be a member. Then you will have your own blog to share your experience and knowledge.
3. You can read other experience in teaching from good teachers from many countries.
4. You will have new knowledge in teaching.


For students:
1. It provides materials for learning English, click learning English for kids, then enjoy the materials.
2. You can download the audio file based on your level (elementary, intermediate, or advance)


My opinion of the website : it makes easier for both teacher or students to learn English, from the content until the appearance of this website is very interesting.
Recommendation: For teaching listening, the audio that you can download is understandable for English for second language learners. explore it.
